Harpers Ferry, WV – Republican U.S. Senate candidate Patrick Morrisey received the endorsement of the Family Policy Council of West Virginia.
Family Policy Council of West Virginia is an organization allied with the Family Research Council, a well-respected socially conservative organization committed to advancing faith, family, and freedom in public policy.
The organization cited Morrisey’s proven track record of fighting for the unborn and standing up for conservative values. The president of the organization also criticized Morrisey’s opponents for lobbing false attacks on Morrisey’s sterling pro-life record.
Allen Whitt, President of the Family Policy Council, said: “We are the experts on life and faith issues in West Virginia. Any media outlet or candidate that tells you the Morrisey family supports the death cult of Planned Parenthood is misleading you. For years, Patrick Morrisey has taken fiery darts from the hostile media because he’s consistently defended the unborn. He’s also a skilled tactician whose legal strategy prevented Obama’s co-ed, public school bathroom disaster from endangering our schoolgirls in West Virginia. We are confident that Patrick Morrisey wins in November.”
“I’m honored and grateful to receive Family Policy Council’s endorsement in this race,” Patrick Morrisey said. “Social conservatives know that that I have fought on the front lines to protect our values and our religious freedom, and I will do the same thing in the U.S. Senate.”
