Patrick Morrisey: Republican candidate for West Virginia governor supports reducing taxes to boost economic growth for state, individuals

Republican Patrick Morrisey of Harpers Ferry, Jefferson County, is running for governor of West Virginia.

Morrisey won the state’s GOP nomination during the May primary with 33.37% percent of the vote. He bested a crowded field of other GOP hopefuls, including former state lawmaker Moore Capito, businessman Chris Miller and current Secretary of State Mac Warner.

“I’ve spent years fighting for the people of West Virginia, standing up to federal overreach, cutting red tape and delivering real results.”
